Tanystropheus is a massive marine reptile that lived during the Triassic. Its neck was just a single bone so it was unable to bend its neck and unable to stand the gravity out side the water. It uses that neck as a tool to stun fish that swim pass by. It is able to stick its head out of the water to breath. When a predator attacks it will allow them to sacrificing a part of there body like the tail, like modern lizards it will grow back.
