Pulmonoscorpius is a very large land scorpion from the Carboniferous. It is mostly active at night hunting for large insects, reptiles and small amphibians. Like its modern relative if hit with a black light it can glow in the dark. During the day to avoid the sun and larger predators it will hide under leaf litter or fallen logs. It hunts with its stinger full of venom. compared to modern day scorpions where larger scorpions used there pincers for hunting it is believed that the pincers are only for intimidation or defense against unwanted predators.
