Mortoniceras is a large Ammonite that lived at the end of the Early Cretaceous. It ate fish and other smaller creatures. It swam backwards, by squirting water out of its back like its modern relative Cuttle Fish, Squids and Octopus. Mortoniceras lived in the oceans around North America, South America, Europe and Afirca. It is preyed on by larger creatures such as Plesiosaurus.
