Goniopholis is a species of Crocodilian. It lived during the Jurassic period and early Cretaceous period. Like all Crocodilian they are ambush hunters. They stand still and wait for there prey, and swim slowly until they get lose enough and bite them. They will than drag the fighting animal back into the water where they are than drowned. When a Goniopholis rolls it is called a "Death Roll" This allows the crocodile to tare hunks of meat off there prey. Other times when they are not eating Goniopholis would sun bath on the river banks. Keeping its mouth open to release heat and keep cool when sun bathing.
