Hibbertopterus is a "terrestrial" sea scorpion would as big as Pterygotus and heavier. Despite its size, this eurypterid definitely was able to crawl around on land, very slowly. Even underwater this thing must have been pretty slow, so its main food course are small aquatic organisms and carrion.
