Diictodon is a small Synapid that lived during the late Permian. It lived underground in burrows like modern gophers. They lived in pairs with there children, but live in large communities with neighbors to watch there back. They do not get along with there neighbors but when a predator is spotted the alarm is out and all of them is back in the burrow. They are mostly vegetarians able to eat the plants on the surface and the roots and tumors that grow under the surface this is where they get most of there water witch helps them to survive droughts and wind storms of the Permian desert.
