Paleocene Epoch

Paleocene Epoch is the first epoch of the Paleogene period. It is just recovering after the extinction of the Dinosaurs. Right now it is a arms race for large predators. During this time Mammals have adventure out from hiding but spite having no Dinosaurs, the are still small and will remain small for a while. Large birds and reptiles make up the top of the predators and the oceans are slowly recovering from the lost Marine Reptiles of the Mesozoic era. Earth atmosphere still a tropical habitat and will remain this way till the Pleistocene epoch.
