Arthropleura is a large centipede or millipede from the Carboniferous period and the early Permian. It lived in the swamps. Crawling around on the ground searching for food and avoiding predators. If there is a fire in the forest it will hide under leaf litter in hopes of avoiding the flames. Arthropleura was a herbivore and has been depicted as a predator. Arthropleura has been depicted of having a poisons bite like centipede but it is believed to be more like the millipede and prefers to rear up scare predators with its size. Once it scares the predator off it will crawl fast away. It only weakness is its soft underside and only can be flipped over or impaled by any of the plants.
